Baby girl Gallagher was such a cutie during her session. She was an “older” newborn, at just shy of one month old.

Newborns are best photographed between 6-14 days of age. At this age they are most likely to be sleepy and they do not respond to touch as much.

Some photographers won’t photograph this age because it can be a bit more difficult to get them into snuggly positions. While these sessions can take a bit longer, I will never turn down a session because of a newborn’s age.
