The DiDonato Family session took place in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. They chose to do their session down at Townsend’s Inlet. This is my favorite place in Sea Isle to do sessions. Since it is at the inlet, most of this beach is on the bay side. Therefore, the sunset is right behind it.

The tough part about the East Coast is that the sun sets in the West. It is difficult to get beautiful sunset images unless you go to the correct beaches.

Not only does Townsend’s Inlet have views of the sunset, it also has high dunes and lots of greenery. This helps give lots of variety in a session.

During the DiDonato session their were hundreds of hermit crabs. I’ve never seen a hermit crab in the wild, only on the Ocean City Boardwalk. It was a cool thing to see and I couldn’t believe how many of them there were. They of course, had to be incorporated into the session. We had a ton of fun!
